The point of Pilates is to create functional movement and ease in all your activities, not just on the equipment.
Go Solo.
Group classes are often the basis of your Pilates training - I think they’re wonderful. But if you’ve never had a Solo session, you’re in for a treat.
Whether you’re an athlete, dancer, or just like to move your body, I’ll give you my full attention during every minute that we spend together.

FAQs
What does Pilates feel like?
Pilates feels like a new and wonderful way to be in your body. At first the movements may feel unfamiliar, like a meal with a flavor combination you’ve never tried before: different but enjoyable.
As you develop muscle memory for the exercises, you’ll find yourself in a flow state that goes deeper than many traditional workouts. Soon your body will be craving more Pilates and you’ll wonder how you ever lived without it.
What are the benefits of Stott Pilates?
The Stott Pilates technique combines the original Joseph Pilates exercise repertoire with modern biomechanics and kinesiology. Exercises are periodically modified to be safer and more efficient according to current scientific findings in these fields.
Stott Pilates instructors train for an average of 300 hours (usually more) before becoming certified. Individual attention and personalization is paramount, especially in Solo or Semi-Private sessions.
How should I start?
Begin how you mean to go on: with a solid understanding of the skills you’ll need to practice the entire Stott Pilates repertoire. For those new to Pilates, I recommend starting with 3-5 sessions of Matwork. For those with experience, a Mat refresher is always a good idea!
Matwork helps you become attuned to the nuance and precision needed for a smooth transition to any piece of Pilates equipment.
